Travel Insurance

Mandatory insurance requirements for all our high-altitude treks.

1. Mandatory Requirement

Adequate and valid travel insurance is highly recommended for all GloventTreks travelers and mandatory for all treks going above 4,000 meters. Your travel insurance must cover accidents, injury, illness and death medical expenses, including any related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance where applicable) and personal liability.

2. Coverage Specifics

When purchasing your insurance policy, please ensure that it explicitly covers:

  • Trekking up to the maximum altitude of your chosen trip.
  • Helicopter evacuation and rescue operations.
  • Medical expenses and hospitalization.
  • Trip cancellation and curtailment.

3. Proof of Insurance

You must provide proof of your travel insurance on the first day of your trip; you will not be able to join the trip without it. We require the policy number, the insurance company's name, and their 24-hour emergency contact number.

4. Recommended Providers

While we do not sell insurance directly, we can recommend several reputable providers who specialize in adventure travel and high-altitude trekking insurance. Please contact our support team for recommendations tailored to your home country.
